1. Staff Accompaniment:

For the safety and effective coordination of activities, it is essential that a member of the school staff accompanies our team at all times. This ensures immediate assistance during emergencies and promotes seamless communication between both teams.

2. Electrical Equipment Safety:

All electrical equipment used by Study Skills Zone undergoes regular safety testing to ensure compliance with industry standards. Prior to each use, equipment will be thoroughly inspected for any signs of damage or malfunction.

3. STEM Activities:

During STEM and ROBOTICS activities, it’s crucial to adhere to safe usage guidelines for resources. We recommend school staff to provide clear instructions on handling materials such as scissors and ensure proactive monitoring to prevent misuse. Additionally, please ensure that first aid provisions are readily available in case of any injuries.

4. Fire/Evacuation Procedure:

While school staff are primarily responsible for notifying students/delegates of evacuation procedures, Study Skills Zone staff will also assist as needed. Clear evacuation routes will be maintained at all times to ensure swift and safe evacuation if necessary.

5. General Housekeeping:

Participants are expected to maintain a clean and orderly workspace throughout the program. Please remind students/delegates to keep personal belongings neatly stored in designated areas to prevent trip hazards. Any hazardous behavior, such as throwing objects, will not be tolerated.

6. COVID-19 Protocols:

In adherence to your school’s guidelines, our team will sanitize all resources prior to arrival. We kindly request students to regularly sanitize their hands to minimize the spread of viruses. Additionally, please ensure compliance with recommended COVID-19 protocols, including physical distancing and mask-wearing, if applicable.
